The main objective of VACANCES MENORCA RESORT is to continuously improve the quality of the services we offer and meet the expectations of our guests, always bearing in mind respect for the Environment of our privileged Island, MENORCA.

As I'm sure you already know. MENORCA has been a Biosphere Reserve since 1993, a distinction awarded by UNESCO that accredits the sustainable development model and forces us to be more careful with our natural heritage every day. L'Albufera d'es Grau, the Camí de Cavalls , the Coast with its Charming Coves, Virgin Beaches and Imposing Cliffs. It is also a Starlight Reserve and the Menorca Talayotica is a candidate to be declared a World Heritage Site. This year 2022 is special since we are the European Region of Gastronomy .

The Historical-Cultural Heritage of the Island, which turns it into an open-air museum, is the ancestral heritage that stands out at every step, Navetas and Taulas from the Neolithic, Basilicas and Roman Settlements, Alleys and Arab Arches, Castles and Medieval Squares, Palaces and Colonial Towers, all of them will open before you, inviting you to discover the feats that they narrate to us.

THE APARTMENTS

We have equipped the apartments with everything you need for your stay. If you need anything additional, contact Reception and we will do everything possible to satisfy you.

 

Air-conditioning

The apartments are equipped with A/C to make your stay in the complex more pleasant. To avoid breakdown, please keep the right temperature; however you can change the fan speed to your liking.

It is recommended that the temperature inside the buildings does not exceed a difference of 10 degrees with respect to the outside. This makes the recommended temperature in summer 24 to 26 degrees. However, in winter, the thermostat should read between 21 and 23 degrees. To get the A/C to work properly and save energy please make sure all windows and doors are closed.

Weake up call

If you wish to be woken up at a certain time, please notify Reception the night before.

Day of exit

The check-out time of the complex is between 11:00 and 12:00, which allows us to have the apartments ready for new arrivals.

If you wish, you can hire the Late Check Out service, which allows you to stay in the apartment until 4:00 p.m. on the day of departure. This service is limited to a reduced capacity  de  rooms; if you want to contract it check prices and availability with reception staff mínimum in 2 days prior to the departure date, prices vary during the season for more information contact reception.

We also have a courtesy room that you can reserve, free of charge, to shower and change clothes before leaving (15 min per person). It is subject to availability. See Reception for more information.

Smoke-free area – no smoking

According to Law 42/2010 of December 30, which modifies Law 28/2005, smoking is not allowed inside the apartments or common areas, but you can do so in gardens and terraces.

For your peace of mind, we recommend that personal belongings and valuables be deposited in the safe in your apartment. These boxes are available for a minimum payment that is made at Reception, €2.00/day and €5.00/deposit. We are not responsible for any accident, loss or damage to your belongings, unless it is negligence on our part and it is proven.

Cleaning, towels and change of sheets

Daily cleaning of the accommodation is carried out, if you want your towels to be changed, leave them on the bathroom floor or in the bathtub, otherwise we will understand that you want to use them one more day. The change of bed linen is done twice a week. If you need an additional change of bed linen, contact reception.

Cleaning hours are from 09:00 to 17:00

PAYMENT METHODS

All your payments and purchases can be made in cash up to a maximum of €500 per person per day or credit or debit card, VISA AND MASTERCARD are accepted, although their use has an additional commission charge.

Please remember to be properly dressed in the Reception, Restaurants and other common areas.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

COMPLAINTS AND SUGGESTIONS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

At VACANCES MENRCA RESORT we have a procedure that defines the system for managing customer complaints and suggestions, since we believe it is necessary to know the causes that generate dissatisfaction about the services received and, because ideas and suggestions allow a permanent adaptation of our services to your expectations and needs.

We understand a complaint as the expression of disagreement or anger that the client communicates to the company, using the mechanism defined here.

We understand as a suggestion the proposal or request made by the client whose purpose is to communicate to the company possible ways of improving the products and services offered.

 The procedure requires us to:

  • Record customer complaint/suggestion

  • Communicate the complaint/suggestion to the Quality Manager or the Management

  • Determine the scope of the complaint/suggestion: who is affected, what impact it causes,

  • Try, give a solution to the client

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the action

  • Respond to the client, detailing the measures taken

SECURITY

Following current regulations, our facilities have an alarm system and fire detectors. Please alert our staff to any suspicious signs of fire or smoke and follow the detailed instructions in your apartment. In no case smoke inside the apartment, there is a smoke detector and it could generate a false alarm.

On the day of your arrival familiarize yourself and the rest of the guests who accompany you with the situation of the security equipment and the most direct route from your apartment to the outside of the complex. If at any time the fire alarm sounds, remain calm, leave the complex without running and at no time stop to collect your personal belongings. Don't use the elevators. Guests with a disability, including blindness or deafness, must notify Reception upon arrival for special attention in case of evacuation.

If you discover a fire, activate the nearest alarm or notify our staff (as long as it is not life-threatening) and make sure to get outside the complex as soon as possible. If this is not possible, after leaving the complex, notify the emergency services by calling 112 . Try closing doors and windows behind you, this will help stop the spread of fire and smoke.

Remember the meeting points are the terrace next to the swimming pools and outside the entrance of the establishment. Under no circumstances re-enter any building without prior authorization from the fire department.

For safety reasons, fire drills are carried out periodically. Collaborate with our staff and make sure you listen properly to the emergency alarms,  if not, let us know.

WARNINGS

  • Please make sure children are supervised at all times.

  • Please, do not use towels and other linens outside your apartment, pool towels are available at Reception.

  • For security reasons, do not leave any object on the balcony or terrace overnight.

SWIMMING POOLS

For the correct performance of maintenance tasks, and for your safety, it is not allowed to bathe or use the hammocks outside opening hours. Please do not reserve them using towels. Do not use the pool after dark, after consuming alcohol or during a storm.

Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult while in the pool area, slide and children's play area. In turn, to access the swimming pools, the minimum age of 6 years is established, in addition to knowing how to swim and always being accompanied by a responsible adult.

 

Please check the pool safety regulations located on the information signs of the pool.

For your safety, do not use glasses, bottles or other glass objects in the pool area, notify our staff and we will serve your drinks in plastic cups. Do not run around the pool area and avoid activities that could disturb other customers (ball games, etc.). Please make sure you and your family check the pool depth markings and safety signs before entering the water and follow all rules and restrictions at all times, as well as follow the directions of the lifeguard.

Do not use the hammocks in the garden areas or outside the pool area, we remind you that it is not allowed to reserve the hammocks by placing towels on them, and they may be removed by the lifeguards.
